Nature’s Sunshine Black Cohosh (stock number 80) is being discontinued. If it’s part of your usual routine, Nature’s Sunshine recommends Flash-Ease Time Release, stock number 81, as its replacement.
What changes with Flash-Ease?
You’ll still be getting black cohosh. Flash-Ease combines a concentrated black cohosh extract with dong quai in a time-release tablet, rather than offering black cohosh on its own.
Nature’s Sunshine describes the original herb’s role as supporting temperature regulation and muscle and nerve relaxation. Flash-Ease builds on that foundation by adding dong quai for circulatory support and comfort during hormonal transitions.
Why the time-release formula?
The tablet releases its ingredients gradually. According to Nature’s Sunshine, this extends support over 12 hours, helping provide more consistent day or night support for the temperature and comfort changes that can come with menopause.
If you chose Black Cohosh for menopause support, Flash-Ease Time Release (60 tablets) is the recommended alternative. It’s a different formula, so follow the Flash-Ease label directions rather than carrying over your old capsule routine.
How to take Flash-Ease
The label recommends one tablet in the morning and one at bedtime.
